Activation Packs

A variety of access control options are available, from simple push button or overhead sensor to secure entry via third party access control or a combination of methods. In the event of power failure, the door has a battery back up. Once battery back up is drained the door can be manually opened. Example activation devices:

FAQs

What input and output functionality does the CS AutoCav come with as standard?

For Inputs it comes with your choice of up to 5 activation devices with functions selected from: open cycle, hold open, two types of locking function, open while locked (overrides lock) and emergency open.

For Outputs it comes with door locked and door closed output for Building Management System connection.

What operational settings are customisable?

There are a range of functions you can customise:

Open cycle time: adjustable between 0-10s
Closing speed: 100-500 mm/s
Slow close distance (e.g. how far from reaching open and close will it slow down): adjustable between 0 - 55 mm

Can the AutoCav integrate with a building management/security system?

Yes, as standard the unit will come with door closed, door locked and emergency open. If integration with building management or smart home system is needed this is achievable via specification of a Dry Wire activation device (ActDev001).
